Than knows how to bring her around and get her laughing. He's really good with all the little folks, and they love him.
That includes his brothers. He's always ready with a helping hand. He and Lee figured out all by themselves how to tie a real bowtie, not the clip on kind.
I was pretty impressed! So were some of the guys at church. No one believed it wasn't a "fake". Lee had been wanting a REAL bowtie to go with his tophat, now he has the whole works! AND a brother to help tie it.I love this picture. One of the Kodak moments I am lucky to snag when I get to spend time with the guys.
What fun catching up with you, and the crew! I can feel the excitement to be with the punks, and they to have you again for awhile. It's true, those sayings about grand kids! The one where if we'd known they were so much fun we'd have had them first, the one where it's fun to have them, and fun to give them back....that they truly are what it's all about. And when I look at those precious faces, especially the saying about children being God's opinion that the world should go on. Than must be Carrie's, he looks just like her! He looks like a sweet soul. I'm glad you got to have that trip. You must be so torn between two shores, as it were. Thanks for the yummy recipes, you've always been such a good, down-home cook.
